Motorola unveiled the new Moto Z2 Play that houses the snapdragon 626 octa core chipset, sails on Nougat and also supports Moto Mod. In fact the company announced new Mods that include SoundBoost 2, TurboPower and Moto Gamepad Mod.

As far as the specifications are concerned the Moto Z2 Play as mentioned is SD 626 octa core powered and runs Nougat (Android 7.1.1) out or the box. It comes loaded with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and 2TB external micro SD support. Another variant comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM plus 2TB external storage support.

The screen is 5.5 inches protected with corning gorilla glass 3 and supports 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Moto Z2 Play comes with 12MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, 4K recording and 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Other features are 4G VoLTE, WiFi, GPS, NFC, Finger Print Sensor, USB Type C 3.1 and Bluetooth. A 3000 mAh battery powers the handset with Turbo Charging support.

Moto Z2 Play launched

Coming to the Moto Mods, they launched TurboPower Moto Mod that provides 15W fast charging support that is built in into the mod. This Mod in 20 minutes can charge the phone up to 50%. Then there is JBL SoundBoost 2 Mod that offers 10 hours non-stop playback time. And finally the Moto GamePad Mod that is made for hardcore gamers.
