If you are using the Moto Z Play handset in India, get ready for the Android Nougat 7.0 update. Motorola has started rolling out the update; it’s a new system software. Those using Z Play might have already got the update notification or will get soon.
The Android Nougat 7.0 update package size for Moto Z Play is around 1.1GB. Better use WiFi to download the same. Though there is no need to take a backup of your data, but on a safer side do take a backup.
Before continuing the update process make sure to check the battery level and keep it over 75% or higher. Also when the package is being installed do not use the phone, it might restart couple of times, do not stop the process at any time.
