Moto X 2nd Gen announced 5.2 inch screen and snapdragon 801 powered

Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen has been launched in India and the Moto X 2nd Gen has also been announced – it will be available in India by end of September or early October. The X 2nd Gen price in US is $499.

The Moto X 2nd Gen handset (upgraded Moto X) will be powered by qualcomm snapdragon 801 quad core processor (MSM8974AC) @ 2.5GHz with Adreno 330 GPU (The same hardware that powers the OnePlus one handset). The new Moto X will run Android KitKat and will get the Android L Update. There is 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM plus a 13MP camera with dual LED flash on the rear. The rear camera will support 4K recording. The front camera is 2MP resolution and can shoot videos in 1080p.

Key features are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS. The X 2nd Gen will come with a 2300 mAh battery and the touch screen is 5.2 inches OLED with corning gorilla glass 3 protection and supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

The Moto X 2nd Gen (144 grams with battery / 9.97mm thick) will be launched in India within few weeks.
