Festive shopping usually means buying sweets, flowers, lights, decorations and other things for the home. But one thing that is often ignored is indoor air quality, even though everyone at home is breathing the same air.
Xiaomi wants to make air purifiers easier to buy this festive season, and for this, the company has partnered with Blinkit.
Mijia by Xiaomi, Xiaomi’s smart home and lifestyle brand, has brought three air purifiers to the quick-commerce platform.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6, Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact, and Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite are now available on Blinkit. This means buyers can order an air purifier just like groceries and other everyday products, with delivery possible in minutes depending on the location.

Why Xiaomi Is Selling Air Purifiers on Blinkit
Quick-commerce apps have become popular for products people need quickly. Apart from groceries, buyers now use these platforms for electronics, accessories, household products and many other items.
Xiaomi is taking advantage of this growing trend by making its air purifiers available through Blinkit.
Instead of searching different online stores and waiting for regular delivery, buyers can simply add an air purifier to their Blinkit cart along with other festive purchases.
This is mainly an availability expansion rather than a completely new product launch. Starting September 2, 2026, these air purifiers are available through Blinkit, mi.com, Amazon, Flipkart, Xiaomi retail stores and Xiaomi exclusive stores.
Blinkit adds the convenience of quick delivery, which can be useful during the busy festive season when buyers may not want to wait several days for an air purifier.
Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6: Made for Large Rooms
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is the most powerful model among the three and is designed for larger rooms and open spaces.
It can cover an area of up to 940 square feet, based on two air changes per hour.
Air changes per hour, also known as ACPH, simply tells you how many times the purifier can filter the air inside a room in one hour.
The purifier comes with Xiaomi’s PentaClean purification system. It uses a five-stage purification process along with UV-C sterilisation and Negative Ion technology to remove different types of particles and pollutants from indoor air.
It offers a Particle CADR of 443 cubic metres per hour and a Formaldehyde CADR of 218 cubic metres per hour.
CADR stands for Clean Air Delivery Rate. In simple words, a higher CADR means the purifier can clean the air in a room faster.
This can be especially useful during the festive season when indoor air may be affected by cooking smoke, dust, incense or pollution coming from outside.
There is also a large colour display that shows real-time information about the air quality in the room.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is priced at Rs 19,999 and is better suited for living rooms and other large spaces.

Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact: Good for Bedrooms and Home Offices
For smaller rooms, Xiaomi has the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact.
It is designed for spaces of around 400 square feet and above, making it suitable for bedrooms, children’s rooms, study areas and home offices.
The purifier uses a 3-in-1 filtration system that Xiaomi says can capture 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.3 microns.
This helps filter common pollutants such as household dust, pollen and smoke particles.
The purifier weighs just 2.2 kg, so moving it from one room to another should be easy.
It also comes with a four-colour air-quality indicator, allowing users to quickly check the condition of the room’s air.
Another useful feature is the 20dB Sleep Mode. It keeps noise levels low while the purifier is running, making it suitable for overnight use in a bedroom.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact is priced at Rs 7,999, making it the most affordable model among these three options.
Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite: A Mid-Range Option
The third model is the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite, which is already a familiar option for Indian buyers.
It can cover an area between 269 and 463 square feet and offers a Particle CADR of up to 360 cubic metres per hour.
This places it between the Compact and the more powerful Air Purifier 6 in terms of coverage and performance.
The Air Purifier 4 Lite uses a three-layer filtration system and provides real-time air-quality monitoring.
It can also be controlled through the Xiaomi Home app. Users can adjust the fan speed, check the filter status and control other settings directly from their smartphone.
The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite is priced at Rs 12,999 and should work well for medium-sized bedrooms, study rooms and similar spaces.

Why This Could Be Useful During the Festive Season
Indoor air quality can become a bigger concern during the festive season because of firecracker smoke, incense, cooking, dust and outdoor pollution entering the home.
Making air purifiers available through Blinkit gives buyers another option when they need one quickly.
Instead of waiting several days for regular online delivery, eligible users can order one through Blinkit and potentially have it delivered within minutes, depending on availability and location.
All three models also work with the Xiaomi Home app, allowing users to monitor air quality, schedule operation and control supported settings remotely.
Whether you need a powerful purifier for a large living room or a compact model for a bedroom, Xiaomi now offers multiple options across different room sizes and budgets, with Blinkit adding the convenience of quick delivery.
