Another handset in the bolt series the Micromax Bolt A69 has been launched for Rs. 6,600. The A69 is a dual core powered handset using the Broadcom cortex A9 chipset. It runs on Android 4.2 with 512MB RAM.

Micromax has already launched many Bolt handsets and if you may have noticed they have been using different chipsets. The latest bolt handset the Bolt A69 is loaded with Broadcom BCM21663 dual core chipset (cortex A9) with VideoCore IV GPU.

This dual SIM handset runs on android 4.2.2 with 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and 32GB external card support. Of the 4GB ROM, 800MB is assigned for apps and 1.5GB is the available phone storage. Micromax Bolt A69 sports a 4.5 inch TFT screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution with 262k colors.

There are dual cameras (fixed focus), one placed on the rear and other on the front. The front camera is VGA and rear is with 5MP resolution. There is LED flash support and videos can be recorded in 720p resolution (mp4 format).

The A69 supports 3G (HSPA), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Surprisingly the specifications on the Micromax official website say that there is no GPS. The 1800 mAh battery gives talk time of up to 7 hours and standby time of up to 350 hours.
