Micromax Bolt A24 with Android 2.3 gets listed on official website

Micromax Bolt A24 a low cost handset with outdated specifications is now listed on the Micromax info website. Though the specs are way outdated Micromax has added 20 regional language support that might be of an interest to some users.

The Bolt A24 sports a 2.8 inch (7.1cm) capacitive touch screen  with 320×240 pixels resolution (262K colors). This dual SIM handset is powered by cortex A5 SC6820 1GHz processor running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM (internal storage) of which less than 110MB will be available for users. There is 16GB micro SD card support.

There is a single fixed focus camera of VGA resolution placed on the rear without flash support. Key features are 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is no GPS. The Micromax Bolt A24 comes loaded with opera mini browser and multi language support.

There is built in FM radio for on the move entertainment and the removable battery (capacity unknown) gives a talk time of up to  4 hours. For the given specs I think the handset should be priced well under Rs. 4,000.
