Meizu Technology today, officially launched another flagship model the Meizu PRO 5 starting from RMB 2799. This handset is powered by Exynos octa core processor and comes with USB Type C port.
The Meizu PRO 5 sports a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It’s 2.5D glass and also protected with gorilla glass 3. As mentioned this handset is using Samsung Exynos 7420 octa core 64 bit processor coupled with Mali T760 GPU.
Flyme OS 5.0 (Android 5.1 based) is running out of the box with optional 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage or with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. There is micro SD card slot too – however it’s a hybrid slot. This handset also comes with finger print scanner. Weight is 166 grams with battery and thickness is 7.5mm.
Primary camera (SONY IMX230) is of 21.6MP resolution using laser auto focus with dual tone LED flash support. Front camera (OV5670) is a 5MP shooter. Rear camera can shoot 4K videos. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, HiFi sound 2.0 and Bluetooth.
The PRO 5 gets power from a 3050 mAh battery with mCharge 2.0 support – in 30 minutes the battery can be charged up to 65% capacity.
Meizu PRO 5 with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM is priced at RMB 2799 (₹29K) and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM is for RMB 3099 (₹32K).
