Meizu will be launching a new handset today in China. The handset specification and images had already been leaked much before the launch, most likely it will be the Meizu MX5 that will be unveiled today.

Meizu had launched the M2 Note in China on 2nd June and today on 30th June they will launch their next flagship model. As per leaked specs the Meizu MX5 will be powered by MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 octa core processor coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU.

This handset will sport a 5.5 inch screen playing around with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Android Lollipop will run out of the box with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Also included is a 20.7MP rear AF camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera.

Meizu MX5 leaked

The MX5 will support 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. It will house a 3150 mAh battery. Now this handset could also come packed with a finger print scanner placed on the front that doubles up as the home / navigation button.
