The LG Optimus VU P895 sports a 5 inch screen running on Android 4.0 OS with an 8 MP camera and also comes with a Rubberdium Stylus Pen. But it is the price tag and the rectangular design that will keep the users away.

To start with the handset weighs 168 grams with 90.4×139.6×8.5 mm dimensions. The dimensions are such that you cannot ignore and is not at all comfortable to hold. The screen is 5 inches with an amazing resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels. The screen is IPS and support gesture inputs. The Rubberdium Stylus Pen is another attraction though it is not as comfortable to use as SPen on Samsung galaxy Note 2.

Inside the Hood
The LG Optimus VU P895 is powered by a quad core 1.5GHz processor coupled with Adreno 220 GPU. The handset supports single SIM with a Micro SIM slot. RAM is 1GB and internal storage is 32GB.

Display
The design looks a bit different, cause of the rectangular shape especially the extra width. The display screen is 5 inches IPS with supported resolution of 1024×768 pixels (XGA) (16M colours). There are some unique features like gesture inputs and the Stylus Pen for faster inputs.

Camera
There are dual cameras. A 1.3MP front and a rear 8MP with full HD recoding support with 8x digital zoom. Camera features are auto focus, finger tip seek, continuous shot, face tracking, time catch shot and many more.

Videos can be recorded in 1920x1080p resolution at 30fps. There is LED flash that helps in low light conditions. The front camera can be used for video calls.

LG Optimus VU P895 review
The specifications are good the design is a bit odd. In other words the display screen aspect ratio is 4:3, I hope you get an idea. The handset is hard to hold cause of the width which is more than what we have seen on other handsets. The stylus is kind of an external accessory because there is no option to store it within the phone just like on the Samsung galaxy Note 2.

The handset is priced at Rs. 29,999 (buy from flipkart) and will soon compete with the Nexus 4. The Optimus VU P895 is definitely not worth recommending.
