LG unveiled a new handset in the K Series, the LG K8. This handset is powered by MediaTek quad core processor and comes with a 2.5D glass. Other highlight is that it is running Marshmallow out of the box.

LG K8 sports a 5 inch IPS screen using In-Cell touch display with 2.5D glass. This handset houses the MediaTek MT6735 1.3GHz quad core processor (already being used on many handsets) with Mali T720 GPU. This chipset supports 4G LTE. K8 handset weight with battery is 156 grams and thickness is 8.7mm.

This smartphone sails on Android 6.0 with 1.5GB or 1GB RAM (selected region) and 8GB of internal storage. There is micro SD card support too. When it comes to camera there is a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front and an 8MP auto focus camera on the rear with LED flash support.

LG K8 officially announced

Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth. LG K8 gets power from a 2125 mAh battery. It will be available in White, Gold and Indigo colour options soon, the price – not yet disclosed.
