Mini LED picture and AI features
LG’s Precision Dimming Ultra controls thousands of dimming zones to manage bright and dark parts of the picture. Dynamic QNED Color Pro carries Intertek certification for 100% DCI-P3 colour volume. These are LG’s stated specifications, not results from a hands-on review.
The Alpha 8 processor powers AI Picture Pro, AI Super Upscaling and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro. These features are designed to improve detail and adjust the picture to the content. AI Sound Pro creates virtual 11.1.2-channel surround sound; this does not mean the TV has 11.1.2 physical speakers.
At roughly 2.57 metres wide and 93.3 kg without the stand, this TV needs careful space and installation planning. Readers comparing similarly large screens can also check the Hisense RGB MiniLED TV range and offers.
Gaming refresh rates explained
The refresh-rate numbers need a clear distinction. The panel has a 120Hz native refresh rate, while variable refresh rate support goes up to 165Hz with a compatible PC and game. Motion Booster 330 reaches up to 330Hz at optimised Full HD resolution, not at 4K.
AMD FreeSync Premium and Auto Low Latency Mode are included for compatible gaming setups. LG also includes a Gaming Portal for discovering supported gaming services. The higher refresh-rate modes should be considered separately from normal 4K viewing.
webOS 26 and smart features
The TV runs webOS 26, with Voice ID and My Page for personalised profiles. AI Concierge offers content suggestions, while the multi-AI experience includes Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. LG Shield provides the platform’s security features.
Sports Portal and Sports Alert bring sports information and updates to the screen. LG is pitching the combination of screen size, picture processing and these sports features at viewers who want a stadium-like viewing experience at home.
