Lenovo Vibe K5 Note was launched in India few months back. The handset was priced starting from Rs. 11,999 (3GB RAM variant) and it did support 4G LTE, however VoLTE was missing. Lenovo has now rolled out an OTA update that will add the VoLTE functionality on the K5 Note handset.

If you are using the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note handset and have got a software update notification, it includes VoLTE (Voice over LTE), make sure to keep the battery level at over 75% before initiating the update. The update file size is around 123MB.

There is no need to take backup of your data, but if you want you can before you begin the update, to be on a safer side. With VoLTE enabled, users will be able to make calls using Reliance Jio SIM directly from the default phone dialer.
