Lenovo announced the K3 Note an octa core powered dual SIM 4G supported smartphone for $145 (approx Rs. 9,000) in China. The K3 Note is an upgraded version of Lenovo K3. Lenovo A6000 that was launched in India was in fact the K3 with minor changes in the specifications.

Lenovo K3 Note sports a 5.5 inch screen with full HD resolution. It houses the MediaTek octa core processor MT6752 (64 Bit) clocked at 1.7GHz. There is 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and a micro SD slot that supports up to 32GB external cards. Most likely the handset will be running Android Lollipop out of the box.

Of the dual SIM slots only SIM slot 1 supports 4G. Like other octa core powered handsets the K3 Note will comes with 13 megapixels auto focus camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera for capturing better selfies. The handset can play and record FHD videos.

Other common features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The handset weight with 3000 mAh battery is 150 grams and it is about 7.6mm thick. The Lenovo K3 Note is priced at $145 and the premium version (with high quality speaker) is priced at $160.
