Lenovo is gearing up to launch an affordable octa core smartphone – the Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 for a rumored price tag of $130. This smartphone will make use of the MediaTek’s pure octa core chipset and will support dual SIM with 3G.

Apparently the Chinese website MTKSJ.com has unveiled some images of Warrior S8. The handset as mentioned will be using MediaTek octa core chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. The screen will be 5.3 inches with corning gorilla glass 3 protection with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Warrior S8 will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. There is a micro SD card slot too. This handset will come with dual SIM slots. There are two cameras a primary camera of 13MP resolution on the rear with LED flash and 5MP on the front with video calling feature.

Key features are 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. There are dual microphone for noise cancellation. Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 will house a 2000 mAh battery and is rumored to be priced at $130.
