Lava Mobiles had recently launched the Xtron Z704 tablet that houses the MediaTek 8127 quad core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. This tablet sports a 7 inch screen and runs KitKat. Z704 does come with a HDMI port but there are no SIM slots.

Lava Xtron Z704 (new member in the Lava Xtron Tablet family) is 10.7 mm thick and weight is about 320 grams. Android KitKat 4.4.x will run by default over a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. There is 1 GB on-board RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. There are no SIM slot but there is a micro SD card slot that supports up to 32GB external cards.

The Z704 also comes packed with dual cameras – a basic VGA on the front and a rear camera with a minimal 2 MP resolution with LED flash support. There is a single sensor a G-Sensor and key features are Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n), GPS support and Bluetooth 4.0. This tablet gets powered by a 4000 mAh built in battery.
