Lava Mobiles launched the Lava Iris Pro 20, another handset in the Iris Pro series. The key highlight about the Pro 20 smartphone is its extremely light weight at 112 grams and pretty slim –  7.7mm thick. This handset is available for a price tag of Rs. 13,999

The Pro 20 comes powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor – most likely MediaTek. It runs on Android  4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS with 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM (2.43GB for user) and with micro SD card support of up to 32GB.

Lava Iris Pro 20 is a dual SIM handset (normal + micro SIM slot). It sports a 4.7 inch OGS IPS screen with qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels). The screen come protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection and full lamination touch panel.

An 8MP rear auto focus camera comes with zero shutter lag, HDR and panorama support. There is dual LED flash too for low light photography. In additional there is a front camera of VGA resolution. The rear camera can record videos in 720p resolution.

Other common features are 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. The handset also supports OTG, hands free calling, call recorder, conference call, direct calling and flip to mute.

The Lava Iris Pro 20 houses a 2000 mAh battery with CABC power saving mode that gives 30% more backup time as compared with other smartphones with conventional batteries. Pro 20 will hit the stores soon in Navy blue color for a price tag of Rs. 13,999.

When it comes to design and built quality Lava mobiles are improving day by day, but it would have been better if they had launched this a few months earlier (cause octa core is here).
