Lava International has launched entry level Lava Iris 402+ handset with 3G support for a price tag of Rs. 5,499. This is upgraded version of Lava Iris 402 that came with 2G support only. It is listed on flipkart for Rs. 5499.

On the hardware front the lava Iris 402+ sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA resolution. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS with 512MB RAM and on-board internal storage space of 4GB. The Iris 402 came with 256MB RAM.

This dual SIM handset also comes with a 3MP rear camera and VGA front camera with video call support. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor that is capable of playing HD games; according to Lava mobiles Temple Run works with ease. Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The Iris 402+ gets power from a 1500 mAh battery.

The iris 402+ also comes with unique apps like keyboard magnifier and Shake. The Shake app (Shake to connect) can be used to accept incoming calls instead of tapping the call button.

Lava Iris 402+ with 3G will soon hit the stores for Rs. 5,499.
