Lava Iris 400Q quad core phone running KitKat listed for Rs. 5499

Another Iris smartphone from lava Mobiles, the Lava Iris 400Q got listed on HomeShop 18 for Rs. 5,499. On the hardware front this handset is using a quad core processor with dual SIM support and runs Android KitKat out of the box.

Iris 400Q sports a 4 inch TFT screen with WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels) with 16M colours. Android 4.4 runs the show with a good 1 GB RAM, 4 GB storage and external card support of up to 32GB.

This is a dual SIM handset with dual standby mode housing a 1.2GHz quad core processor (chipset unknown – probably Broadcom or Qualcomm). The 400Q comes with dual cameras, a 5 MP camera on the rear with LED flash and 0.3 MP camera on the front. The rear camera can shoot 720p videos.

3G, 2G (GPRS), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and probably GPS are supported. The handset is 9 mm thick and comes with a 1700 mAh battery that gives talk-time of up to 9 hours and stand by time of up to 6 days.

The Iris 400Q is available on HS18 for Rs. 5,499.
