Lava Mobiles has launched a budget friendly smartphones running Android KitKat with 3G support for Rs. 3,599. This handset is powered by a single core processor clocked at 1GHz.

Lava Iris 370 is a low cost device that comes with dual SIM slot, supports 3G and houses a 1GHz single core processor. It is running Android KitKat 4.4.x with 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. There is micro SD card slot that can hold up to 32GB external cards.

The Iris 370 also includes a 2MP fixed focus camera on the rear and a VGA camera on the front. Rear camera comes with LED flash support. This handset is 11.5mm thick and supports 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is no built in GPS receiver.

The 1300 mAh Li-ion removable battery gives up to 9 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 5 hours talk time on 3G networks. Lava Iris 370 sports a 3.5 inch TFT screen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. It is priced at Rs. 3,599.

It would be wise to invest some more money and get the InFocus M2 for Rs. 4,999.
