If you look at the specifications it is almost the same on both these handsets. The Lava Iris 355 and the 349 sports a 3.5 inch screen with 480×320 pixels resolution running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with 256MB RAM.

Both these handsets come with 2MP rear fixed focus camera, however there are a few changes here. The Iris 355 comes with 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a secondary camera.  The iris 349 on the other hand comes with 2MP rear camera with LED flash but without front camera.

Both the handsets support dual SIM with dual standby and the Iris 355 is curvier than the 349 model.  Again both these handsets come with G-Sensors and proximity sensors.  The 349 weighs about 115 grams and is 13.3mm thick and the 355 is a little slimmer with a 12.85mm thickness.

Though the battery capacity is the same of 1400 mAh, on the Lava Iris 349 you will get around 400 hours standby time and talktime is about 6 hours and on the Lava Iris 355 you get around 620 hours standby time and up to 7 hours talktime.
