Moto G was launched a few days back and now the awaited Android 4.4. KitKat update has finally been rolled out in India. If you own the Moto G then you can get the update done right away – OTA (Over the Air).

You can update your handset using Wi-Fi or 3G network. Tap settings, about phone and then tap system update. You will see the Android 4.4 KitKat update – the download size is 230.7MB.  I have already started the download process. Note: Before you update make sure to keep the battery level over 50% better if its over 75%.

It would be wise to update to the new OS, though there could be issues with OTG as reported earlier – it may not work on the KitKat OS. This update could probably fix some issues faced by some users like the Wi-Fi not working etc.

So go ahead and update your Moto G to KitKat. Stay tuned for more on this.
