We have seen a lot of activities from Karbonn Mobiles, recently. The company launched some new handsets and also unveiled the Karbonn Smart Tab 1 a low cost tablet. And now they have partnered with Dolby to bring Dolby effects on new handsets that will be launched in the future.
So in the coming day / months you could see new models embedded with the Dolby sound feature. The Karbonn KT81 is the next handset in queue which will probably be launched within 2 or 3 weeks and it will come with Dolby sound.
This will be an added feature and will not have any impact on the price tag. Users will be able to enjoy a better sound quality which will now be clearer and louder, all this at an affordable price. The pricing details of touchscreen KT81 is not known yet.
The KT81 Cosmos handset supports 2G, come with a 3.2 MP camera, Bluetooth, supports microSD card up to 16 GB and has built in FM radio. The touchscreen display is of 3.2 inches. The handset comes with customized user interface. This is a low end phone and price tag is expected to be under Rs. 6,000.
