Jio partners with Niantic to bring Pokemon Go to India

Reliance Jio has partnered with developer and publisher of Pokémon Go (Niantic) to bring Pokémon Go to India. Already many users in India are using the free Reliance Jio services that anyway will get extended up to 31st March 2017.

With Jio high speed 4G network users can now play the most popular augmented reality game Pokémon Go. Selected Reliance partner premises and most of the Reliance Digital Stores in India will appear as Gyms or PokeStops in the Pokémon Go game.

Reliance is working with Niantic to enhance the gaming experience, make it more enjoyable, allow Indian users to train, battle and catch. Anyone having a Reliance SIM is basically using free services as of now and this will continue till end of March 2017.

User can play this Pokémon Game on Jio 4G Networks without incurring any charges until 31st March 2017.
