iVOOMi a Chinese electronics major (OEM/ODM) that launched the iVOOMi Me 1+ in India will now be rolling out Android Nougat 7.0 from 6th July 2017 for the same model. The iVOOMi Me 1+ is priced at Rs. 4,999 running Marshmallow and now it will get Nougat update.
The company confirmed that the Nougat update will be rolled out from 6th July, it will be in phased manner so in case you do not get the update notification, wait and check after few days. This will be over the air (OTA) update.
Android 7.0 is coming to iVOOMi Me 1+ and its size is around 998MB. When the update is available a notification will popup. Make sure to keep the battery levels over 75% so as not to interrupt the update process.
The update will most likely, not delete your data but better to keep a backup. So all you guys using the iVOOMi Me 1+ handset watch out for the software update and in case if you have updated let us know how the update went and about the handset performance after the update.
This Android 7.0 update will add multi setting window, split screen, users will be able to control app notifications and more.
