Others

The Intex Cloud S9 comes with finger print sensor that is decently fast and accurate. I did not find any issues with network (I was using Reliance Jio), no issues with WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Loudspeaker is on the bottom side and it is very loud and clear.

Intex Cloud S9 Performance (time / battery % drop / estimated battery temperature)

  • Running Benchmark app : 12 minutes / 6% / 28 degrees
  • Asphalt 8 game play : 16 minutes / 4% / 40 degrees
  • FHD video playback with full brightness (WiFi /4G on) : 43 minutes / 8% / 35 degrees.

It took me 2 hours 23 minutes to charge this handset from 28% to 100% using the wall charger. Estimated 1% to 100% charging will take up to 3 hours.

Verdict

The handset is good, looks good and performance is decent. VoLTE is an added advantage as most of the Indian users have a secondary reliance Jio SIM. The price however is on the higher side, there are better options available in the market. Had the price been below Rs. 5,000 it would have been a good 4G VoLTE buy.
