Intex Mobile along with Aqua A2 also launched the Aqua Y2 Ultra for Rs. 4,490. The Y2 ultra is also powered by Spreadtrum quad core chipset clocked at 1.2GHz. It is running Android KitKat with 1GB RAM.
The Intex Aqua Y2 Ultra is 9.9 mm thick and weight with battery is just about 108 grams. This handset will be available in 4 different color options. Touch screen is 4 inches (IPS) supporting 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) resolution.
As mentioned the handset is using 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC7731G quad core processor running KitKat with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support via micro SD slot. There is a 5MP auto focus camera on the rear with LED flash support and the front facing camera is of VGA resolution.
Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS support and Bluetooth. The 1400 mAh battery (Li-ion) as per the company gives up to 3 hours of talk time.
Dual SIM Intex Aqua Y2 Ultra is priced at Rs. 4,490. I don’t know the logic for launching Aqua A2 for Rs. 4,390.
