Intex Mobiles has silently launched the Intex Aqua Speed smartphone that comes powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor and its running Android KitKat with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The company has also promised Lollipop upgrade.

The Intex Aqua Speed comes with a fully laminated display (4.5 inch IPS touch screen with qHD [960 x 540 pixels] resolution) and with premium sand stone back panel finishing. This is a dual SIM handset powered by MediaTek MT6582M quad core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400 GPU. The handset will be running Android KitKat out of the box but it will get the Lollipop update later on.

In terms of memory and storage the handset is packed with a good 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. There is micro SD support too of up to 32GB. This handset also comes loaded with dual cameras – a 5MP fixed focus on the front and a 8MP auto focus (f/2.8) on the rear with LED flash.

Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The Aqua Speed gets power from a 1700 mAh battery that gives talk time of up to 5 hours and standby time of up to 180 hours. The Intex Aqua Speed with 21 Indian regional language support is now available on ebay.in for Rs. 7,299.
