Infocus M370 is a low cost dual SIM smartphone with 4G LTE support. The M370 is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad core chipset with Global 4G LTE support. This handset is price at ₹5,999.

I just got the handset without the box packing, and hence have skipped the Unboxing.

Design and Display
What makes the handset unique and eye catchy is the design. The pure white and black colour combination works really well – add to it the textures on the rear give a complexly different look. The screen is almost black and the white border on the top, look appealing. The sides are black colour with matte finish.

The rear panel is white colour, textured with matte finish. A small part on the rear has got glossy finish, including the logo (check video review). This glossy part shines up from certain angles. Handset is light weight at 131 grams with battery and dimensions are 71.34 x 142.64 x 8.30 mm.

Power button is on the right, volume rocker is on the left and audio jack + micro USB port is at the bottom. Native video calling is not supported. There are dual Mics for noise cancellation. This is a dual SIM handset – SIM 1 is a micro SIM that supported 4G/3G/2G and SIM 2 is a hybrid SIM, you need to remove the tray and can use a nano SIM or a micro SD card.

Infocus M370 sports a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen is scratch resistant to a small extent, better use a screen guard. Colour reproduction, touch response and viewing angles are great.

There is LED notification and following sensors – accelerometer, light, proximity and magnetic.

Memory, Storage and OS
The M370 comes packed with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. On the first boot you will get 4GB free space and about 326MB free RAM. OTG does not work and apps are getting installed on internal storage though you can move supported apps to external storage.

This smartphone is running InLife UI based on Android Lollipop 5.1.1.

Performance and Benchmark
Infocus M370 is using qualcomm snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) cortex A7 32 bit 1GHz quad core processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. Handset does not heat up much. I did find the UI lagging (mild lag) occasionally but acceptable.

Benchmark

Benchmark App Score
Quadrant 8824
Antutu (32 bit) 1st – 17227 , 2nd – 17352
Nenamark 2 44.6fps
Multi touch 10 point

Gaming
I played Asphalt 8, the game got installed on the internal storage. By default it was set to medium quality mode but I set it to low quality mode and it played really well. The hardware is not that powerful but can play games in low quality mode with ease.

Camera
The M370 comes with an 8MP AF camera on the rear with LED flash and a 2MP camera on the front. Rear camera can shoot 720p videos. Rear camera quality is above average; do check the sample images and videos at the end of this review. Handset can play Full HD videos.

Others
Ringtone sound output is loud however the media sound (video / much player, game play) is pretty low. 4G worked (2300 band), no issues with WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS (got the first GPS lock was within 4 seconds).

Battery
The M370 comes with removable 2230 mAh battery. Battery backup is pretty good you can expect about 5 to 7 hours of continuous usage (moderate to heavy).

Verdict
The Infocus M370 is another 4G supported smartphone with an affordable price tag. M370 has got a unique look, is light weight and using the snapdragon 210 entry level 32 bit quad core chipset. Camera quality is above average and you can expect a good battery backup (over one day of mixed usage).

Infocus M370 is not a bad option for ₹5,999. This handset will be available soon.
