Infocus M350 is a MediaTek quad core powered smartphone with 4G LTE support. This dual SIM handset is running KitKat over a 5 inch screen with HD (1280 x 720 Pixels) resolution. Another unique thing about M350 is 8MP AF camera on the front as well as on the rear. M350 is priced at Rs. 7,999.

M350 Unboxing
I got the M350 review unit from the company, but unfortunately without the box pack (only the handset). I guess inside the box you will get the handset, data cable, travel charger (5v ~ 1A), user guide, warranty card and probably an earphone (the M530 box pack has one). SAR Value : 0.278W/kg.

Design, Display and OS
The Infocus M350 look almost like the Infocus M2, however the handset is bigger and (more) curvier when compared with M2. For this price tag, build quality and finishing is really very, very good. Body is made of plastic, back panel is with matte finish and sides are with metallic silver finishing. Handset is comfortable to hold and even with a 5 inch screen one can easily operate using single hand – that’s because the width is 71.59mm, less than when compared with other handsets.

M350 weight with non-removable battery is 155 grams and dimension are 71.59 x 150.48 x 10.01 mm. Power button is on the right, volume rocker on the left, audio jack on the top and micro USB port at the bottom.

There are dual mics for noise cancellation. This is a dual SIM handset, there are two micro SIM slots and both the slots support 4G/3G/2G. The micro SD slot supports cards of up to 64GB.

The M350 sports a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There are no dedicated navigation buttons and hence part of the screen is used by on-screen navigation buttons. Screen quality, color reproduction and viewing angles are very good. You can set the colour temperature and also enable / disable blue light filter (check video review). The blue light filter gives a more comfortable viewing experience especially when reading eBooks.

There is LED notification and following sensors – light, proximity, accelerometer, gyro and magnetic.

Memory, Storage and OS
Infocus M350 comes loaded with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. You will get around 1.3GB free RAM and 12GB internal storage space on the first boot. Apps by default are getting installed on the internal storage, there is option to move apps to external storage, however game data are not moving to external storage.

OTG is supported.

M350 is running Android KitKat (32 bit OS) out of the box.

Performance
This handset is powered by MediaTek MT6732 1.5GHz cortex A53 quad core processor coupled with Mali T760 GPU. Benchmark apps are showing MT6752 chipset. Performance is smooth and lag free, no issues found and temperature was also well controlled (max temp encountered was 40 degree). Though the chipset is 64 bit the handset is running 32 bit KitKat.

Gaming
I played Asphalt 8 in high visual quality mode. This game got installed on the internal storage. Game play was smooth.

Camera
An 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash is packed on the rear and there is an 8MP auto focus camera on the front too. Rear camera can shoot full HD videos. Camera quality is above average – check the images and videos at the end of this review.

Others
Sound volume I felt was a slightly lower than as experienced on other handsets, but acceptable. Loud speaker and in-call sound clarity is good. My 4G network is working, I am using Airtel 4G in Mumbai (2300 band). Wi-Fi, GPS (almost instant lock outdoor) and Bluetooth worked well. Native video calling is supported.

Battery
This handset comes with a 2500 mAh non-removable battery. Battery backup is impressive you can expect about 6 to 7 hours of continuous backup (moderate to heavy) on a full charge.

Verdict
Infocus M350 houses a powerful hardware packed inside a unique design. Performance is good and handset does not heat up much. Battery backup is also very good. The M350 is slightly pricey but looking at the build quality, performance, camera and battery this is a very good buy.

Infocus M350 is available on Snapdeal for Rs. 7,999.
