Weight with battery is 157 grams and dimensions are 67.64 x 132.60 x 10.30 (mm). Power button and volume rocker is on the right side, audio jack and micro USB port is at the top and there is a single microphone at the bottom.

Infocus M260 review

This is a dual SIM handset – SIM 1 is normal SIM slot that supports 3G/2G and SIM 2 is a micro SIM slot that supports 2G only. There is micro SD (overlapping) slot too.

There is no LED notification, native video calling is not supported and there is only one sensor – accelerometer. Minimal sensors like light and proximity is missing. You will need to manually adjust the brightness and when making / receiving calls the screen will not switch off automatically when you bring the phone closer to your ear.

Display
The M260 sports a 4.5 inch screen supporting 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution. Colour reproduction, touch response is good. Viewing angles are okay not that great.

Memory, Storage and OS
There is 1GB RAM, you will get around 514MB free and of the 8GB internal storage around 3GB free on the first boot. OTG is not supported. Apps are getting installed on internal storage by default but some apps can be moved to external storage, after installation.

Performance
The Infocus M260 is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 32 bit cortex A7 quad core processor with Mali 400 MP GPU. Performance is smooth and handset does not heat up much. Max temperature I encountered was 42 degrees.

Benchmark

Benchmark App Score
Quadrant 9366
Antutu (64 bit) 1st – 20458 , 2nd – 20153
Nenamark 2 59.6fps
Multi touch 2 point

Gaming
I could not installed Asphalt 8 as there was limited internal storage space left after installing the benchmark and other apps. I then installed Real Racing 3, the game played really well and was smooth. Check the video review for gaming action. Handset is powerful, can play high end games, however with limited internal storage space you will not be able to install many / bigger games.

Camera
There is a 5MP fixed focus camera on the rear with flash and a 2MP camera on the front. The 5MP camera does a good job outdoors in good lighting conditions. Since this is fixed focus it is good to shoot subjects that are 5 feet or away. Front camera is not that impressive and the LED flash for the rear camera is no good. Rear camera can shoot FHD videos. Do check the sample images and video at the end of the review.

Others
Sound is loud and clear, no issues with in-call speaker. 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS worked well.

Battery
There is a 2000 mAh removable battery. Battery backup is decent you can expect up to 3 to 4 hours of continuous moderate to heavy usage. I got over 1 day, 2 hours of mixed usage on a full charge.

Verdict
The Infocus M260 is a good phone for the price and available in attractive colour options. Hardware is powerful though its 32 bit hardware running 32 bit Android 5.0. It is packed with good 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Battery is decent, camera is okay. Overall a good option to use as a primary or a backup phone.
