Huawei has launched the P8 and the P8 Max smartphones that are powered by Octa Core processor and are running Android Lollipop out of the box. The P8 pricing starts from EUR 500 (Approx Rs. 33K) and the P8 Max starts from EUR 550 (Approx Rs. 36K).

Both the Huawei P8 and the Huawei P8 Max are using the HiSilicon Kirin 64 bit 930/935 octa core processor (1.4GHz quad core + 2/2.2GHz quad core) coupled with Mali T628 MP4 GPU. Most of features are common on P8 and P8 Max – both these handsets come with 3GB RAM, optional 16/64GB storage (there is no micro SD card slot) and 13MP SONY primary camera with OIS with LED flash support.

The P8 comes with 8MP front camera whereas the P8 Max is using a 5MP front camera. The P8 sports a 5.2 inch JDI IPS LCD screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, P8 max sports a 6.8 inch LCD JDI IPS screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

Key (common) features are 4G LTE (cat 4), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS, DLNA and NFC. These are dual SIM handsets (NanoSIM + NanoSIM). Huawei P8 gets power from 2680 mAh battery and the P8 Max gets power from 4360 mAh battery.
