Huawei Honor 4C octa core smartphone launched in China from RMB 799

Huawei launched a low budget octa core smartphone, the Honor 4C in China for RMB 799 that comes to approx Rs. 8200. The handset supports 4G and comes loaded with 2GB RAM. There is no word if the handset will be made available globally.

The Huawei Honor 4C in itself is unique, it is using the HiSilicon Kirin 620 octa core 64 bit cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with Mali 450 MP GPU. This is a dual SIM handset with dual standby mode and with 4G LTE support. Weight with battery is about 162 gram sand the handset is 7.9mm thick.

Honor 4C comes loaded with 2GB RAM, 8GB storage and there is micro SD card support too. Screen is 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 (HD) pixels resolution. Also included is a 13MP auto focus camera with BSI senor and LED flash support placed on the rear and a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front.

Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The 4C gets power from a 2550 mAh battery. There are different Honor 4C variants available, RMB 799 is for handset with Kirin 628 chipset and RMB 899 for handset with Snapdragon 615 chipset.
