Storage and Connectivity
Many manufactures have now realised the importance of internal memory and hence new handsets that are being launched come with a good internal storage capacity and sadly with no microSD slot. The One X houses 32 GB internal storage with no external storage support. For many users this is more than enough.

This android handset supports 3G (HSPA/WCDMA) and 2G networks. You can also use the Wi-Fi for connectivity. This handset also features the near field communication (NFC) technology. You can make use of Bluetooth 4.0 for connecting to Bluetooth devices or DLNA for streaming media wirelessly from handset to PC or TV.  Other ports present are HDMI and 5 pin microUSB with MHL (Mobile High definition video Link).

Display
The HD 720p touchscreen display is 4.7 inches supporting 1280 by 720 pixel resolution. The display quality no doubt is crystal clear. This smartphone comes loaded with Gyro, G-Sensor, Proximity, Digital compass and Ambient light sensors.

Multimedia and Sound
The multimedia player supports WAV, MID, MP4, MP3, WMA and AVI files to name a few. This HTC handset also features the Beats Audio technology. You can plugin any stereo headset into the 3.5 mm audio jack.

Camera
There is front facing 1.3 MP camera with 720p resolution supported and a rear facing 8 MP with LED flash. 28 mm lens, aperture F2.0, smart LED flash and BSI sensors work amazingly well even in low light conditions.  The camera can record full HD videos (1080p). The smart LED flash determines the distance from the subject and accordingly adjusts itself.

Many mobile cameras (including the HTC One X) now come with a new feature that allows the user to capture images in midst of video recording. Other features are continuous shooting mode, video stabilization and slow motion video capture in HD quality.

This HTC handset is powered by a 1800 mAh battery with good standby and a decent talktime. The HTC One X price in India is Rs. 36,000 and expected to be in the market in first week of April 2012.
