HTC launched 3 new handsets in India. The HTC Desire 820 which is octa core powered, the HTC 820q a quad core smartphone and the quad core powered Desire 816G with 3G support. The 820 and the 820q price has not been disclosed and these handsets will be available next month. The 816G is priced at Rs. 18,990.

The Desires 820 sports a 5.5 inch screen with 720p resolution. It is a dual SIM handset powered by qualcomm snapdragon 615 octa core (1.5GHz quad + 1GHz quad) processor (64 Bit) coupled with Adreno 405 GPU.

The 820 comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and micro SD support of up to 128 GB. There stereo speaker on the front with BoomSound, 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. Key features are 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 2600 mAh.

The HTC Desire 820q is the same as 820 but it is quad core powered using Snapdragon processor and RAM is 1GB.

The HTC Desire 816G is using 1.3GHz MediaTek quad core processor running KitKat over a 5.5. inch screen with HD resolution. It comes with 1Gigs of RAM, 8GB storage and micro SD support. There is 5MP front camera and 13MP rear camera. Additional features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 2600 mAh. The desire 816G is priced at Rs. 18,990.
