HTC has launched a new dual SIM handset the HTC Desire 728 in India for a price tag of ₹17,999. This handset is powered by MediaTek octa core processor and is running Lollipop 5.1 over a 5.5 inch screen with 720p resolution.

Inside the hood the HTC Desire 728 is packed with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and external storage support of up to 2TB. There are dual nano SIM slots with 4G LTE support. This handset houses the MT6753 64 bit MediaTek octa core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali T720 GPU.

Weight is 155 grams and handset is 7.8mm thick. Primary camera packed on the rear is of 13MP resolution with LED flash support and secondary front facing camera is of 5MP resolution. Both front and rear cameras can shoot full HD videos.

HTC Desire 728 launched in India

Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth 4.1 and WiFi. The HTC Desire 728 gets power from a 2800 mAh battery.

This smartphone will be available soon in two colour options for ₹17,990.
