Honor View 10 review – Most Advanced AI Smartphone of 2018

Honor will soon launch the Honor View 10 smartphone in India. This no doubt will be the Most Advanced smartphone (AI powered) of 2018. Here is the Honor View 10 review, check it out to know how the handset performed and what makes it the most advanced smartphone of 2018.

The Honor View 10 is using Kirin 970 octa core processor that also includes a NPU, Neural Processing Unit. This NPU handles the AI (Artificial Intelligence). And this AI is what makes the View 10 the most advanced handset of 2018 (for now), this is just the beginning.

Overall performance was impressive, check the benchmark scores and also watch the review video. This handset comes with dual cameras on the rear and it does an excellent job, check the camera section for more on that. Fast Charging is supported and battery life is decent enough.

Both high end games the Asphalt 8 (in High quality mode) and the Modern Combat 5 played really well, no issues, no lags. Plus the 18:9 aspect screen gives you a better gaming experience.

Honor View 10 Camera  Review

Rear Camera : 20MP (Mono) + 16MP (RGB), f/1.8, auto focus, LED flash
Front Camera : 13MP, also supports Portrait mode
Video Recording : 4K resolution

The View 10 comes with dual camera setup on the back, in the camera app you get wide aperture and portrait mode options. Camera quality is excellent and like on other Honor smartphones you get a lot of profession modes that captures great shots. The bokeh effects are pretty good.

Selfie also looks too good, especially with the portrait mode. This handset can shoot 4K videos, there is no stabilization option on this handset. Do check the samples and the video sample in video review.

Camera Rating : 4.6 out of 5

Other features

The finger print sensor on the front is pretty fast and accurate. I did not find any issues with networks. Face unlock feature for now is not enabled but I will soon get it via OTA update and will cover that soon.

Face recognition is enabled but you cannot unlock the phone. Though some AI features are working for example when you have registered your face and you get notification, you will see the notification, but  others cannot.

The AI feature is pretty interesting, it monitors your usage pattern and customizes the UI experience as per your need.
