  1. Hi Gogi. I have ordered X2T truly wireless Bluetooth headphones with 1500 mah charging base for 1240+ BT receiver-transmitter for all devices for 950+ capacitive stylus for 60 inr from gearbest Totalling to 35.56$ via priority line shipping using Indian express. I have added shipping insurance also. Will my order attract any customer duty? It’s showing all 3 items in single order. So will I get a box containing all 3 items at one time? I had ordered on 21st Oct. How long will it take to deliver?
Since the total price is crossing 35$ mark, I am worried of attracting custom duties 🙁
Plz resolve my doubts. Also is my purchase worthwhile, what’s your opinion..?
I also wanted to buy a good binoculars. Can u suggest one with a coupon code sir if possible.

    1. There would most likely be no custom duty as product price is less and I guess package weight is also light.

      1. Thanks for reply Gogi. Btw is the shipping insurance helpful? Should one opt for it? Cz it increases the total cost..

      2. I had horrible experience with Chuwi. I backed their Surbook through indigego for $299 in May,17. I kept contacting about the shipping mode, carrier etc. They never replied.

They started shipping irrespective of who booked first and after too many complaints they shipped my product in third week of October. They gave me a wrong AWB number, all my emails to send correct shipping details yielded no results. Finally through FedEx I got the correct details. But to my dismay they mentioned entire product cost as $43. Not only mine they did under-declare all Indian shipments.

Customs held up many these, but released mine after slapping a penalty and custom duty of Rs. 7180, close to $130. Plus the tempered glass was broken, battery of stylus costing close to Rs600 was never shipped and they were least bothered when I contacted them back.

These idiots never respond to your queries, their shipping is awful and they are simply incorrigible, yet product is good.

So anyone going for backing them please be aware of harrowing time ahead.

        1. Sandeep, they did the correct custom duty calculation, had you got it from EMS then there it could have been with penalty that could have come to $299 as custom duty.

          1. That comes as a relief, but I bought the very first Adam tablet many years ago, yet I paid just Rs 1680 for a tablet costing about Rs24000. Don’t tablets carry duty at a lesser rate?

          2. Depends on assessment, by custom officials, plus now after GST rates are a bit different.

  3. Gigi,
How is your Chuwi, 4 port fast charger?
Is it damaging the cables or mobile batteries?!

      1. Thanks and Good to hear that.
What I observed is, I have been using this to charge my Mi Max. It charges fast.
After sometime, I have charged the same phone using the company provided charger(5V/2A). It took more than 10 hrs to charge it!!! Not sure what has happened.
Did you faced any similar issue?!

          1. Thanks for the reply. I tried with multiple (including original as well which seems destroyed after using this) cables. Still the same issue!!!

  4. I have a chuwi hi8 dual boot tablet brought 18 months ago. Excellent value for money.
