Review
This is a easy to use to camera. If you are using a DSLR for the first time just switch on the auto mode and the camera does all the work for you, of course you get the credit for all the excellent photos taken.

There are different shooting modes available and you can also get creative by switching to manual. The live view on the LCD screen is good but I prefer the electronic viewfinder (EVF) and AF seems much faster via EVF. Moreover with EVF mode the battery will last longer.

Of the two lenses the EF-S 18-55 mm is best for indoor photography, close-ups, macro mode etc. and the EF-S 55-250 mm is best for outdoor photography (you get the extra zoom factor). The battery life is decent enough. You can transfer the images on a PC or laptop using the USB cable or by removing the storage card and using it with any card reader.  You can also make use of the image browsing, printing and processing software that comes bundled.

1100D combo pack price in India Rs. Rs. 38,990 with 2 years warranty.
