BGMI 4.5 Brings Three New Druvaen X-Suits That You Earn By Playing, Not Paying

For most of BGMI’s history, the fastest route to a rare skin has run through your wallet. That changes on August 1, when KRAFTON India rolls out the Druvaen collection as part of the 4.5 season, and for the first time ties part of an X-Suit’s evolution to how much you actually play the game rather than how much you spend.

If you are new to the term, an X-Suit is BGMI’s top tier of cosmetic outfit. Unlike a regular skin, an X-Suit can be upgraded through several visual stages, each one adding new effects, animations, or design flourishes as you level it up. The Druvaen line brings three of these, and the way you unlock their highest form is unlike anything BGMI has tried before.

Three Suits, One Elemental Bloodline

The centrepiece of the season is a new selection crate holding three 7-Star X-Suits, each one built around a different elemental theme but sharing the same Druvaen bloodline:

X-SuitRarityElemental Theme
Verdant Druvaen7-StarNature/Growth
Pyre Druvaen7-StarFire
Frost Druvaen7-StarIce

They are visually distinct but designed as a matched set, so landing in any of them is meant to stand out on the battleground.

Earn Your Evolution: A New Way to Upgrade

This is the part that makes the 4.5 season different from every X-Suit drop before it. Alongside the crate, BGMI is introducing a new upgrade material that cannot be bought, traded, or farmed through any other means in the game. It unlocks purely by playing, marking the first time BGMI has linked an X-Suit’s progression directly to time spent in matches rather than money spent in the store.

Here is how the system actually works:

Suits UnlockedWhat Happens
One X-SuitAutomatically placed on the new gameplay-based upgrade path
Two or all threePlayer picks one suit for the new path; the choice is permanent
Remaining suitsCan still be upgraded through BGMI’s existing X-Suit system

Because the choice of which suit goes on the new path is locked in once made, it is worth deciding in advance which of the three you want to grind rather than picking on impulse.

A Matching Finish: The Naturespirit Growth ACE32

The drop is rounded off with a new upgradable weapon skin, the Naturespirit Growth ACE32 (Level 7), designed to carry the same Druvaen look onto your loadout. Pairing it with any of the three suits completes the full aesthetic, from outfit to weapon.

When It Goes Live

The full X-Suit Collection, covering the Verdant, Pyre and Frost Druvaen suits, the new gameplay-based upgrade path, and the Naturespirit Growth ACE32, will be live in BGMI from August 1 to September 30, 2026. KRAFTON India has pointed players to BGMI’s official YouTube, Instagram and Facebook channels for rollout updates as the season progresses.

Gear Up For Longer Sessions

A gameplay-based upgrade path means more time in matches to actually earn it, and that usually means longer sessions than the average BGMI player is used to. A few accessories tend to help when the grind stretches on:

AccessoryWhy It Helps
Mobile gaming trigger controllerFaster aim and fire control during extended matches
Magnetic phone coolerKeeps your device from throttling during back-to-back games
20000mAh fast charging power bankKeeps you charged through a full grind session without a wall socket
