ASUS Zenbook 14 India Launch Date
ASUS has confirmed the launch date for its new Zenbook 14 lineup. The announcement is a preview of the range rather than a complete price and specification list. It does not yet establish which colour, processor, memory and storage combinations will be sold together in India.
That distinction matters because the Zenbook name covers several different laptops. The upcoming colour lineup should not be confused with the earlier Zenbook 14 UM3406KA, or with the separate Zenbook S series.
Three Colours and a Ceraluminum Finish
Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral and Zabriskie Beige give the range a choice of cool blue, warm coral and neutral beige finishes. ASUS describes a coordinated design across the lid, chassis and keyboard, rather than a colour change limited to the outer cover.
The main material feature is Ceraluminum, ASUS’ ceramic-treated aluminium finish. The company says it offers resistance to scratches, wear and smudges. The official product design pairs a Ceraluminum lid with a metal chassis. These are durability claims, not a promise that the laptop cannot be scratched or damaged.
For a laptop carried between home, office and meetings, the finish and surface texture can matter almost as much as the colour. The three options also give buyers a more personal choice without changing the basic slim-laptop design.
Weight, Thickness and Battery Life
ASUS quotes a starting weight of 1.1kg and thickness of 1.39cm. These are lineup-level figures, so they should not be applied automatically to every processor and display configuration. The weight of the exact Indian model will be more useful when comparing it with another laptop.
Battery life is claimed at up to 33 hours. This is a manufacturer maximum, not a tested result for everyday office work. Video calls, screen brightness, multiple applications and the selected processor can change how long a charge lasts. A light body and long battery claim make an appealing travel combination, but the final model and workload still matter.
Intel, AMD and Snapdragon Options
The announced processor choices are Snapdragon X, AMD Ryzen AI 7 345 and up to Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3. These are alternative platforms within the range, not three processors in one laptop. ASUS also quotes up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance across the lineup.
An NPU handles supported AI workloads. Its TOPS rating is not a measure of overall laptop speed, gaming performance or battery life. The processor, memory, cooling and software together determine how the machine performs.
Buyers should also compare the applications they use with the platform they select. Exact Indian model numbers, RAM, storage, display specifications and port details will make a more useful comparison than the Zenbook 14 name alone.
Easy Pay EMI Options
ASUS has outlined two Easy Pay financing options for the range:
| Option | Starting monthly amount | Stated tenure |
|---|---|---|
| No-Cost EMI | ₹7,333 | Up to 18 months |
| Low-Cost EMI | ₹6,234 | Up to 24 months |
The no-cost option is described as zero interest, while the low-cost option carries an additional financing cost. The lower monthly amount does not by itself mean a lower total payment. These instalments also do not establish the retail price of every model; variant-wise prices and financing eligibility remain separate details.
What Matters Before Choosing a Model
The new colours and material finish are the clearest changes revealed so far. The range looks relevant for buyers who want a light Windows laptop for documents, presentations and work away from a desk. A recommendation on value will need the Indian prices and complete configurations.
For another premium 14-inch ASUS design, the Zenbook S14 UX5406AA review covers a separate model. Buyers comparing an existing alternative can also Check out ASUS Zenbook 14 UX3405CA-QL1014WS. That is the earlier Core Ultra 5 configuration, not the upcoming three-colour lineup.
