  1. Can you Suggest me a laptop under 35K?
    My requirements are:
    Autocad, Solidworks, NX etc
And it should support modern games with low or medium resolution.

I found a laptop but it is now available in India 🙁
Asus E5-573G-52G3 available only on newegg website.

    1. I think it would be smarter for you to try for a good quality second hand laptop with at least an i5 processor and 4 gb RAM at that price. Anything less than i5 will run applications like AutoCad etc a little slow. And you don’t get i5 under 35 k in laptops(you may get one or two desktops though) Again, not just the processor but a SSD drive is better for best results for gaming, graphics-heavy applications etc. It’s tough to get even a HDD drive+i5 at this price.

Even in second-hand options, you can look to make some intelligent compromises if required. If the screen is slightly cracked for example but slill usable, you can buy it and when using at home, you can connect to a separate monitor through the HDMI port. But you may get a faster processor and the desired SSD for your needs.

But don’t shoot for less than the i5-SSD drive-4 gb RAM combination. For your needs, it will be suboptimal.

  2. No expandable storage, no IPS screen, no detachable screen, just 32 gb internal(rather than 64 gb) – disappointing specs from Asus. The processor is more powerful than Intel Atom perhaps but everything else is a thumbd-down. Get the HP Pavilion X2 instead. 64 gb internal, 64 gb expandable, awesome detachable IPS screen usable as tablet, great magnet attachment to keyboard, 9 hours battery – best deal out there.

    1. thx for the low down.. you are right ASUS is churning out old stuff.. losing their grip on indian market. Lenovo and HP are better brands now.
