The Apple watch series 1 is an upgraded Apple watch that houses a dual core processor. This new version when compared with its predecessor is 50% faster. Rest of the features is the same as seen on the older version.
The Apple watch Series 2 is using dual core S2 chipset that is much better than it’s predecessor. Series 2 Smartwatch is using OLED screen (Retina display). It’s a touch screen with force touch support. The watch is running Watch OS 3 OS out of the box.
