Alcatel at IFA 2017 unveiled two handsets in A Series – the Alcatel A7, Alcatel A7 XL and one in Idol Series called the Alcatel Idol 5. These 3 handsets are Octa Core powered and price starts from USD 272 approx Rs. 17K.

Alcatel A7 features and specifications

This handset is running Android 7.0 and powered by a MediaTek octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. Screen is 5.5 inches, IPS with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Alcatel A7 comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 128GB micro SD support.

Rear camera is 16MP, front camera is 8MP, plus both cameras come with flash support – on rear there is dual LED flash and on front there is single LED flash. Other features are VoLTE, finger print sensors, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC. A 4000 mAh battery powers the A7.

Alcatel A7 XL features and specifications

The Alcatel A7 XL comes with big screen of 6 inches with 2.5D curved glass and 1080p resolution. It is using MediaTek MT6750 octa core processor @ 1.5GHz same as A7 and sails on Android Nougat with 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM and micro SD support.

Rear camera is 12MP + 2MP (dual cameras) and front camera is a 5MP shooter. Key features are 4G, VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi. A 4000 mAh battery powers the Alcatel A7 XL and fast charging is supported.

Alcatel Idol 5 features and specifications

The Idol 5 is MT6753 octa core powered @ 1.3 GHz. It is running Android Nougat with 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 128GB micro SD support. Screen is 5.5 inches, 2.5D full HD resolution. Rear camera is 13MP, front camera is 5MP.

There is finger print sensor and key features are 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi. A 2800 mAh battery powers the Alcatel Idol 5.
