Samsung had recalled the Galaxy Note 7 handset as they were unsafe, some exploded, well one more category has added to the exploding list this time the Samsung Washing Machines. The company has recalled 2.8 Million washing machines in the U.S.
If you though only Galaxy Note 7 were prone to explosion, this might change your views. Now it’s the Samsung Washing Machine issue, in fact few even exploded – some customers have sued the company. There were over 700 reports of washing machine issue – especially the machine detaching from chassis and excessive vibration.
The company has recalled 34 top load Samsung Washing Machines Models manufactured between 2011 to 2016. As per the recall program customers can opt for free in-home repair to get the defect fixed and get 1 year warranty extension. The other option is discount for next purchase from any brand (including Samsung) with free installation.
The recall is for U.S. customers, the issue is also related to the products sold there, there are no issues with washing machines sold outside North America.
