XOLO has launched a Hexa core powered handset called the XOLO Play 6X 1000 that is priced at Rs. 14,499 and comes with pre-installed XOLO play zone. The handset it seems is made especially for gaming users.

On the hardware front the XOLO Play 6X is using the 6 core MediaTek Mt6591 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz with Mali 450 GPU @ 600 Mhz. This dual SIM handset is 8.5mm thick. 6X 1000 runs Android KitKat out of the box over a 5 inch IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

There is 2GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support. The handset also comes packed with 8MP rear AF camera with BSI 2 sensors and a front 2MP camera. FHD video recording and playback is supported.

There are a good number of sensors – accelerometer, gyro, light, proximity and magnetic. Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, 2G, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. The 2100 mAh battery (Li-po) gives talk time of up to 14 hours. The battery can be fully charged in about 3 hours.
