Tata DOCOMO has launched a new unique service for its CDMA and GSM customers called the “Garb a Song”. With this service DOCOMO users can easily grab any song and download the same on their phone with easy or even use it as a call me tune.
The best part about this service is that there is no need to search for a particular song in fact the whole process is simple and innovative. When a user likes a song all they need to do is dial 57878. Then bring the phone closer to the speaker of the source. The back-end software at Tata DOCOMO with its unique voice recognition software will automatically match it from the DOCOMO call me tune database.
Within 30 seconds the DOCOMO customer will receive an SMS with the song details, singer name and movie/ album name along with activation (confirmation) of the service. DOCOMO has a huge music library with over 400K songs. The song selected can also be used as a Call Me tune (just like hello tunes on Airtel).
To activate the Grab a Song service just dial 57878 and bring the phone closer to the source (could be TV, laptop, car stereo etc). Customers will need to pay Rs. 30 per month for using this service. And song downloading changes is Rs. 10 for 30 days for CDMA users and for GSM users it is Rs. 15 for 90 days.
