STK launched their first action camera called the Explorer. The STK Explorer camera supports WiFi and packed with 19 accessories. This camera comes with fixed focus lens and can shoot 12MP still images / record videos in full HD resolution.
Canon has expanded its camera portfolio by launching the IXUS 285 HS, IXUS 180, IXUS 175, EOS M3 and EOS M10 compact point and shoot and mirror-less cameras in India. The IXUS cameras are priced at under ₹13K and the EOS series are priced at under ₹50K.
Elephone has now launched a small portable camera called Elephone Explorer that looks like the GoPro and it can shoot 4K videos. This mini camera is priced at $69.99 for limited period only and later on it will be priced at $89.99.
Samsung has announced the Samsung WB110 compact point and shoot camera with 26x optical zoom and with wide angle lens (22.3mm). This camera can shoot still images in 20.2MP resolution and can also record 720p videos.
Sony has launched the Sony CyberShot WX300 18.2 megapixel camera for Rs. 19,900. Sony claims that the WX300 is the world’s smallest camera to feature a 20x zoom (optical).
Samsung Galaxy Camera GC100 has now been launched and available in India. It is a digital camera powered by an android OS (Jelly Bean 4.1). The Galaxy camera is listed on the Samsung estore as well as on Flipkart for a price tag of Rs. 29,900.
