Spice Mobiles latest smartphone is called the Stellar 524. It is a quad core powered dual SIM handset running Kitkat with 1GB RAM. This handset is priced at Rs. 10,799 but you can get it for under Rs. 10,000 from retail stores and online.

Though the chipset is not disclosed this quad core is clocked at 1.3GHz most likely using the MediaTek quad core processor with Mali 400 MP GPU. The markets are already flooded with these 1.3GHz MediaTek processors, and here is one more.

Handset is bulky with a weight of about 195 grams and 10.6mm thickness. The IPS touchscreen is 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. This handset comes with 13MP rear AF camera with flash and a 3.2MP on the front.

Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This handset comes with a 2000 mAh battery. Stellar 524 runs on Android KitKat with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and 32GB external card support.
