Sony Xperia Go by Sony mobiles is an android powered handset that is dust and water resistant. This is a premium handset with a price tag of under Rs. 19,000 featuring a 1 GHz dual core processor and a 5 MP camera.
The rugged Xperia Go sports a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen screen with a resolution of 480 by 320 pixels (165 ppi) with MBE (Mobile Bravia Engine). The handset comes with dual core processor (@ 1 GHz), 512 MB RAM and internal memory of 8 GB. MicroSD card is supported (32 GB max). This smartphone run on gingerbread OS and can be upgraded to ICS.
This rugged handset supported 3G (HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps), 2G (EDGE / GPRS), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB. HTC desire V has best camera and screen and looks, but if compare with Sony Xperia GO, that has front cam as well as shock proof and water proof, price only 2000 more for GO, check both then buy.
166pi density. Karbon and micromax give better specs and display better ICS 4.0 for lower price. Only thing you get in case of sony model is its brand recognition and customer service(?). Is there really any competition?
