Samsung has added two more basic phone the Guru 1200 and the Guru 1205. These are simple handsets meant for making and receiving calls with some good features. The only difference between the 1205 and the 1200 handset is that the 1205 comes with a built in FM receiver.
Samsung Guru 1200 Features
This single SIM Samsung handset is available in black colour and sports a 1.52 inches display with 128 by 128 pixels resolution. The E1200 weighs 65 grams and is 13.6 mm thin.
This basic handset from Samsung come loaded with Samsung’s own proprietary OS. Nothing too great about it but it comes with simple features and is easy to use. There is an internal memory of 2GB built into the E1200 and that is all, there are no external card slots, and there is really no need for one. Also there is no camera on this phone.
The others features are, it does support Bluetooth and you can do a bit of browsing. This is a 2G phone which comes with some pre-loaded games, loud speakers but with no 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Li-ion battery at 800 mAh capacity gives an amazing standby time of over a month and up to 9 hours of talktime.

Samsung Guru 1205 Features
This is exactly the copy of the E1200 model with just one additional feature and that is the built in FM radio. Interestingly this handset is just Rs. 100 extra.
Samsung 1205 price in India is Rs. 1,190
I wonder why Samsung created these two models a single model with FM was more than sufficient. There is hardly any price difference and most users will opt for 1205 anyway.

I want to know which set has the internal memory of 2 GB. (1200 or 1205).
I enquired about 1200, it does not have internal memory of 2 GB.

Vasnath, these are basic phone the mem is very less not 2GB, I think you are talking about external storage. I don't think it has external storage option as could not find it in the specs on the Samsung site http://www.samsung.com/in/consumer/mobile-phone/m…
I purchased 1205, a good set. But the torch light shuts off automatically after two minutes, is there any solution to it?

Naveen, both are good phones just look for the design. I think Nokia 100 would be better cause of a bigger buttons.
